Bridge Building Events
Pax Africana has an ongoing program called Bridge Building which is aimed at promoting peace between Africans in America and other people groups. Our Bridge Building programs empower people groups to reconcile with each other, and to work together towards addressing needs in their communities. The ultimate goal is the progress and peaceful co-existence of all people in the United States and in Africa. The primary platform for this effort is Bridge Building Dinners. Our first Bridge Building Dinner was organized between new generation immigrants from Africa and the African American Community, and was held in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Nov. 30, 2007. Another Bridge Building event had been scheduled for January 18, 2008. Similar Bridge Building efforts are planned for promoting peace amongst ethnic groups in Africa through our Peace Missions in the countries of Africa. Contact us to see how you can participate in any of our Bridge Building events.
